The Cinnamomum camphora tree is a small evergreen tree that is part of the Lauraceae family and is native to Japan and Taiwan. This evergreen tree grows 20-30 meters tall with leaves that have a glossy, wax appearance.
Ho Wood, Ravintsara, and Camphor essential oils come from the Cinnamomum camphora plant. It is a large evergreen tree that grows in Asia. Ho Wood Essential Oil has recently become popular as a replacement for Rosewood Essential Oil, which is a highly endangered species, although they have a similar scent profile.
